What About Your Unfinished Story?

It’s almost like we’re living in a dream right now. Sometimes I wake up and think “Is this really happening? Has our world become a juxtaposition of normal, daily life and Orwellian overreach. A number of government leaders are using doublespeak to control  people who fear receiving and spreading sickness and death.  For more information watch Tyranny Masquerades as Safety Yet, Jesus warned us these events would happen in the last days. Though the corona virus scenario may have surprised most of His children, Jesus didn’t leave us unprepared. He gave us His Word to guide us and comfort us-

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  II Corinthians 12:9

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35

Below is an excerpt from a short story I started several years ago.(I can’t remember how many;). For some reason I haven’t been able to finish it. Maybe it’s because I’ve known all along it’s ‘too close to home’ in the sense that it kind of mirrors the truth of future end time events described in the book of Revelation.

In future posts I plan to share other portions of the story. Hopefully I will have an appropriate ending to share also. Just as my story is unfinished mankind’s has not yet come to a conclusion. But, as we know, the signs are everywhere proving our home on earth will soon come to an end. The story isn’t over but the stakes are getting higher. Time is running out.

Because of The Book (New title)

“I can’t wait ‘til I see my newborn boy again!” Denny Willis said to his wife a she
sat in the chair beside her hospital bed.
Glenda Willis, looking exhausted and elated at the same time, replied, “What about me? I only got to hold him for a few seconds myself. I don’t know why they had to whisk him away so fast. I barely had a chance to make sure he had the right a mount of fingers and toes. It was even faster than when Alyssa was born. She ’s going to love her little brother when she sees him.”
“You know why it’s so much faster don’t you? ” her husband asked in a serious
tone that was just above a whisper.
“Yea I know. They already explained it to me when I first came in last night.
Every newborn has to have the implants before they leave the hospital now,”
Glenda Willis replied, shaking her head in disbelief. “Why so early I really can’t
understand and don’t agree with even though it’s supposed to be for safety.”
The young father leaned back and placed his hands on the arms of the chair.
Then he closed his eyes and allowed his troubled thoughts to take him back in
time to his thirteenth birthday. A new law had been passed requiring
adolescents to be initiated into the adult world of microchip implantation so they
could be tracked like animals in a maze and under the control of the New World
Council. If only his parents or friends or teachers ….someone would have told
him the truth before it was too late for him.
Unfortunately he had not been informed of the reality of that doctor visit. His dad
had sounded nonchalant about the appointment though he insisted on going
with him and his mother– which he ’d never done before. In retrospect Denny
finally realized that his now deceased parents had seemed a little apprehensive
on that morning nearly fourteen years ago. Still yet, they didn’t grab him by the
arm and yell “Make a run for it Son! The y’re going to inject some thing into your
body that will forever change you and the world a round you. You will no longer
be your own person. You’ll be a slave to the International Community. Run
Denny run for your life !”
“Mommy when can Aiden start talking to me ? ” seven year old Alyssa Willis
asked as she stared down at her jabbering six month old brother wiggling in his
playpen.
“Well honey it won’t be any time soon. It’s going to take him a while to learn how
to talk.” Glenda rose up from her computer work and walked over to her
daughter. “You can help teach him.”
The elfin like girl with wavy red hair looked up at her mother in amazement.
“How can I do that?”
“Just talk to him Alyssa . That’s how babies learn to talk. They have to hear other
people do it. It’s the way God planned for it to work.”
“Oh. Okay I can do that. Hey Aiden when you get older you can go to school like
me . And you can play with the kids and learn how to read books. And hear good
stories like my teacher Miss Fresia tells us every day.”
Little chubby Aiden grinned at his sister and began shaking his microphone
shaped musical rattle . Intently watching her happy, innocent son and young
daughter, Glenda had a very depressing thought. Now her two beautiful children
were free to express themselves as much as they desired with their limited
language. But one day- in the not too distant future- when their vocabulary would
be much greater, then their ability to share their own beliefs or opinions would
be very restricted.
*Only five months earlier a law had been passed that restricted citizens around
the world from discussing anything on radio, television, and the internet that
would be considered hate speech of any kind. Considered hateful by whom?
The World Council of course. As a result Glenda had to take down a personal
blog she had been posting on for two years.
It had been conceived out of a desire to encourage and inspire young mothers
to live and to teach their children about godliness in the midst of an ungodly
culture . “God help my children. The world is changing so fast and we’re losing
more freedom with each passing year.” The troubled young mother whispered a
prayer as she sat back down at the computer to make an online payment.
Keith Shaffer stood in front of his desk staring down nine stories from his large
office window to the noon time traffic on Main Street be low. He pondered
bewilderedly, “If only they knew. All those people in their cars going here and
there just like any other ordinary day. What would they be doing right now if it
was announced to the country? Most likely the majority would be undisturbed.
They might discuss the rationale at dinner time and come to the conclusion that-
once again- big government knew best. Would that make them very naive or
downright unconcerned? Or smart?
“And to think, if I hadn’t just taken this job with the government I wouldn’t have
known about it for several more months,” he thought pridefully when he heard a familiar knock at the office door. (To be continued)

II Peter 3

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

If you don’t know by now, this world is falling apart. Not because of the corona virus or global warming- but as a result of sin sickness and lawlessness.

I Thessalonians 4

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The above verses explain what will be the happy ending for those who truly live for Jesus Christ. Contrary to what many scoffers say, it is not a fairy tale. God’s Word declares it and it is truth. You may say people who believe in this are delusional but prophecies of the Bible have been fulfilled many times already. And so the world will see many more of them happening in the not too distant future. https://believersportal.com/list-bible-prophecies-fulfilled/ https://www.therefinersfire.org/recent_prophecy.htm

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Hebrews 11

Though the bible doesn’t tell us, I believe that Noah experienced ridicule and mocking from the unbelievers of his time. They probably chose to believe he was a crazy man who thought he heard from God. They probably thought life would go on as usual despite what this ‘ignorant’ preacher proclaimed. And they probably raced toward the door of the ark as the flood waters rose up. Too late..to repent. Too late..to enter in. Too late to be saved from destruction.

They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Luke 17:27

Even if you don’t know Jesus and the assurance of salvation, it doesn’t have to be too late. He came that you could have eternal life. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is no respecter of persons. What’s more His love is able to heal you and make you whole. It’s not a fairy tale. It’s reality. All else is vanity. Let Him give you the right words to finish your story.
